Dear Bedford Park-Clearing Neighbor:

One of the purposes of the Bedford Park-Clearing Industrial Association is to keep our industrial community informed with information on issues that impact business in our area.  We, as a business association, are faced with many outside influences including those of local, state and federal governmental agencies.  These agencies have a bearing on all of our present and future plans for economic growth.  We work closely with the Village of Bedford Park, the Police Department, the Fire Department, Public Works and the Water Department, so we can keep our members informed of actions which may impact their business.

 As members of the Association, we can develop into a better and more successful community, but we need your help!  Your input is our most valuable asset.

 The officers and directors of this Association have been actively and successfully pursuing many major projects of benefit to all of us.  We have developed ever improving communications with local, state and federal agencies in such areas as traffic, police, fire, taxation, ecology, flood control, etc.  Our quarterly meetings feature many fine speakers on these topics.   

We are aiming for 100% membership, because we know it is in this unity and strength that we can accomplish even more to ensure the growth of our business community.  If you would like to join our association, you may send your application form to our office at 6535 South Central, Bedford Park, Illinois 60638.  We look forward to meeting you in the near future.

 CLASSES OF MEMBERSHIP DUES 

The Association currently offers two classes of membership 

1.       Active:  Any person, firm or corporation located in the Bedford Park-Clearing  Industrial District or adjacent thereto is eligible for Active Membership. 

a.       In cases where a person, firm or corporation is operating two or more plants of substantial size, each separate plant is eligible for membership.

b.       Only Active members have voting privileges.

c.       Dues for Active members are based on number of employees:

0 – 17                                      $ 225.00 per year

18 – 50                                    $ 275.00 per year

        51 – 200                                    $ 325.00 per year

      201 – over                                   $ 375.00 per year 

2.       Associate:  Any person, firm or corporation doing business in the Bedford Park-Clearing Industrial District or vicinity, but not representing a Clearing District firm is eligible for Associate membership.

  Associate membership is $375.00 for the initial membership.

Following years will be $225.00 per year
